Configuration
Amorphous Photosensor power is generated using the photovoltaic effect of semiconductors as well as Amorphous Silicon Solar Cell.
When a semiconductor is exposed to a light source of suitable intensity,a large number of pairs of an electron and positive hole are generated as a result of the reciprocal action between photons and silicon atoms.They are then collected at both electrodes respetively, resulting in a voltage difference between the electrodes.
Circuit Diagram Example
OP amplifier detects photosensor output current and convert to voltage. The signal is linearly amplified.
