Stepping Motors are used in a wide range of digital control equipment because they are amenable to open loop control. They also deliver low-noise and low-vibration drive by exercising microstep control. Hybrid ICs in small transfer molded packages with protection functions (overcurrent, overheating and open detection) have been added to the company's lineup so that they have become even easier to use.
