Applications

The LC75835W is 1/3 and 1/4 duty general-purpose LCD display driver that can be used for sub-LCD display such as digital still cameras with a control from a controller and it is able to control up to 16 general-purpose output ports as well as being able to directly drive LCD of up to 136 segments. Moreover, since the LC75835W incorporates an oscillator circuit, external resistance for oscillation and external capacity can be reduced.

• Settings for lighting / lights-out / blinking for each segment are controllable by serial data.
• General-purpose output port: Up to 16 ports (switched to segment pins)

• Frame frequency control function for common / segment output waveform.
• Blink frequency control function for segments.
• Backup function by power save mode.
• A switch between internal oscillation operation mode and external clock operation mode possible.
• Serial data input is transmitted to a controller in CCB* format.
